Accessing Web of Science

Now that you understand how useful citation searching is and what Web of Science is, lets do a search using an example from psychology.

Since Web of Science is a database, we will use Sirius to access it. Sirius is the gateway to UNSW Library electronic resources (databases, e-journals, e-books, subject guides etc.). For more information about Sirius, go to Sirius Help.

To access Sirius, go to the UNSW Library homepage, http://www.library.unsw.edu.au then follow the steps below:

Step 1: Select "Sirius" from the main library homepage

Step 2: Click "Find Resources".

Step 4: Click "Web of Science" to access the dabatase.
