Module 4 : Citation searching using Web of Science

""Citation searching: Web of Science

In psychology and many other disciplines, it is important to be able to look up who has referred to or cited the work of a particular author or a particular article or work. The Web of Science is a huge, specialised database providing access to the three citation databases

The Web of Science covers more than 8700 of the world’s most widely read journals across all disciplines. It may be used to search for articles in any discipline in a wide range of journals. Its important and specialised purpose, however, is as a citation searching tool.

Note: Like all Internet services, Web of Science is dependent on networks and machinery which sometimes behave erratically, slowly, or are unavailable for varying periods.
